About

Almost three years ago I swore I would never enjoy coffee. I spoke a little too soon.

People often forget that coffee is a product of a long, grueling agricultural process, not simply mined from the ground. Years of hard work and dedication go in to the creation of a single cup of great coffee. I hope to highlight that process. From sprout to tree, hands to machines, here to there, green to roasted, and shop to consumer – I am interested in it all.

I’ve been merely a home-brewing enthusiast for the greater part of two years, but recently was accepted on the team at Yellow House Coffee in Lubbock, Texas. My appreciation for all things coffee grows daily, surprising me continually in ways I could have never imaged.

Take this journey with me.
